Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Albert Handell dreamed of becoming an artist and illustrator. Nothing was more exciting to him than drawing and painting. From an early age, he had a desire to become a professional artist and to make a living by doing what he loves, and he knew that to do so, he had to work hard to get good.
It wasn’t always easy, and there were sacrifices to be made. But even now, in his 80s, Albert’s dedication to his love of art has not waned. His life of work has become part of several permanent, corporate, and private collections. His art has been showcased in over 30 one-man shows, and he continues to paint as well as pursue his second passion — teaching others what he has come to know along his journey.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to learn directly from this great artist?
You may not have the opportunity to attend a live workshop with Albert, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn directly from this extremely talented artist and highly sought-after instructor. In fact, not only can you learn from the artist himself, you can do so in your own home or studio and at your own pace — it’s like inviting Albert over and never letting him leave!
